CHRIST (Deemed to be University) organized International Conference on Sustainable Advanced Computing for two days (2 March-3 March, 2018). ICSAC-2018 was a platform for the researchers, academicians, industry professionals around the globe to present their ideas and propose their work amongst the other participants. It enabled them to share and exchange information from the academic and research perspective.
ICSAC-2018 was all about sharing and exchanging knowledge and ideas. The papers/research work was broadly coming from domains like 'Machine Intelligence', 'Data Sciences', 'Cloud', 'Big Data', 'IoT', and 'Network'. Researchers from all over the world were welcome and could present their paper in person or through Skype. The Conference was a great opportunity for all as nobody would go back empty-handed. The Conference had many highlights, some of which are mentioned below:
•    Best paper award;
•    Accepted paper published in indexed journals (SCOPUS, WOS, DBLP) and UGC approved list;
•    Participants were given presentation and publication certificates; etc.

Event Highlights
ICSAC-2018 started on 2 March, 2018 at CHRIST (Deemed to be University). Eminent personalities were present for the Inauguration to share their views with the participating audience. Dr. Madhan Kumar Srinivasanwas the Chief Guest for the day. Dr. Madhan, an IIM-Calcutta alumnus, is currently the Associate Vice President at Accenture Innovation Center for Analytics, Accenture, Bangalore India. He is an inventor of 10 Advanced Cloud Analytics Product Patents that are independently filed as multi-continent patents in USA, Europe/UK, Australia & India regions. He is a recipient of "Top 100 Scientists Award 2014" from IBC, Cambridge, England. He also received Accenture's most prestigious global award "Accenture Inventor Award" for 2017 and "Cloud Tech Guru" Award from Infosys for 2012. Dr. Madhan has authored 6 Book Chapters in 4 research text books published by Springer USA and published 20+ refereed research papers covering vast range of top international publishers like ACM, Elsevier, IEEE & Springer. Delivered Talks including keynote addresses, research papers, seminars and workshops in more than 75 International Conferences and Public Speaking Events worldwide. Dr. Madhan holds a Ph.D. in Cloud Computing from Hindustan University, India and an Executive Management program EPBA specialized in Business Analytics from Indian School of Business and Management Calcutta (IIM-Cal), India.
Dr. Madhan delivered very motivating and enlightening  words. His address included the importance and emergence of research, statistics and data analysis, and how it can be beneficial in the practical world. He gave certain case studies and real time examples that could easily be understood and motivated the participating audience. Followed by the inaugural address were two keynote addresses that were addressed by Dr. ElpinikiPapageorgiou, Dr. Prabhakar C J, and Dr. Raghu Krishnapuram. Dr.Prabhakar C J is from Kuvempu University, Karnataka and presented on the topic 'AnOverview of Text Information Extraction from Images/Videos'. Dr. Raghu from Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore delivered the address on the topic 'Machine Learning Hype or Reality?'.

There were many other presenters from all over the globe to present their research ideas and papers on diverse topics like networks, machine learning, IoT, etc. The conference was a great platform to gain and share knowledge.
